C414- BULS

I often say this is the last good AKG mic before they got suckered into the Harmon vortex of mediocrity. I’m somewhat a fan of these despite the ‘nylon’ capsule and the like and are fantastic candidates for aftermarket brass ck12 upgrades… I’ve pretty much run out of these btw! Find their almost warm (hate that term) and almost woody timbre really good for some sources like zingy acoustics and snares and things that are bright and need taming but still not sound poor. Will clean up nicely and behave and sound even better.
