Orders

Add the item to your cart and complete checkout. We then confirm availability and send you payment details — nothing is charged automatically. For brokered or high-value items, use the Enquire button and we'll handle the sale with you directly.

Talk to us. For many pieces we can hold an item for a short time while you arrange payment or ask questions — get in touch about the specific piece.

Collection and viewings can sometimes be arranged by appointment. Choose "Collection" at checkout or contact us to ask.

No. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account lets you see your order history and speeds up future orders.

Shipping

Every order is packed with care and dispatched with tracking. Heavy, large or fragile items — consoles, tape machines, vintage valve gear — may need a specialist courier, which we'll arrange and confirm with you before dispatch.

UK shipping is a flat £35 per order at checkout. If an item needs specialist transport we'll let you know the cost before you pay.

Yes, on request. International delivery costs, duties and timescales depend on the item and destination, so contact us with your location and we'll quote.

Returns

If you buy online as a consumer, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your item under UK consumer law. Items must be returned in the condition they were sent. Get in touch first so we can arrange the return properly — see our terms for details.

Contact us straight away with photos. Every listing describes condition honestly, and if something isn't right we'll work with you to put it right.

Vintage Equipment

Yes. Vintage equipment is inspected and functionally checked where the equipment allows before it's listed, and the findings are reflected in the condition notes.

Where it's known, provenance and service history are shared on the listing or on request. Availability varies from piece to piece.

Older equipment can need occasional maintenance — it's part of owning vintage gear. We'll always tell you what we know about a piece's service state before you buy.

Condition

Each listing includes a condition grade (for example Excellent, Serviced or New) plus written notes on cosmetic wear, repairs, modifications and any known issues.

Of course — use the "More photos" button on any product page, or message us on WhatsApp.

Selling Gear

Use the Sell / Trade form with the make, model, condition and your asking price if you have one. Photos help — you can send them by WhatsApp.

Both are possible depending on the equipment. We'll talk you through the options — outright purchase, part-exchange or brokerage — and what makes most sense for your piece.

Brokerage

We help position your equipment at a realistic price and connect it with serious buyers, then help coordinate a safe handover. See the brokerage service for an overview.

Fees depend on the equipment and what's involved. We agree terms with you clearly before anything is listed.

Technical Services

Yes — describe the unit and what you need through the technical enquiry form, and we'll explain how we can help and what's involved.

Our consulting service offers independent advice on equipment, whether or not you buy it from us.

Payments

After you place an order we confirm availability and send payment details. You can pay by bank transfer or by card through a secure payment link — we never ask for card details on this website.

Your order is confirmed once we've checked availability with you and payment has been received. You'll get an order reference straight away when you check out.
