About these terms
These terms apply to purchases and services from Gearpimp Ltd through this website, by phone, email or WhatsApp. Please read them before placing an order. If you have any questions, contact us first.
Orders & confirmation
When you place an order you receive an order reference. This is an order request, not yet a binding contract. We then check availability and condition and contact you to confirm. The contract is formed when we confirm your order and payment has been received.
Much of our equipment is one-of-a-kind. If an item becomes unavailable before we confirm, we will tell you and no payment will be taken.
Prices & payment
Prices are set in pounds sterling (GBP). The currency switcher can show an estimated USD equivalent using an hourly GBP exchange reference rate. If you choose card payment, Stripe charges the order in the selected currency and confirms any applicable tax at checkout. Bank transfers and other payment arrangements remain in GBP. Card payment is made through Stripe-hosted checkout or a secure payment link. We never ask for card details on this website. Items are dispatched once payment has cleared.
Condition of equipment
Vintage and used equipment is sold as described. Each listing includes a condition grade and notes on wear, repairs and known issues. Vintage equipment may show signs of age consistent with its condition grade and may require routine maintenance over time.
Delivery & collection
UK delivery is charged at the rate shown at checkout. Heavy, large or fragile items may require a specialist courier; we will confirm any additional cost with you before you pay. International delivery is quoted individually. Collection can be arranged by appointment.
Cancellations & returns
If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Please contact us before returning anything so we can arrange it properly. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. This does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights if goods are faulty or not as described.
Brokerage & consulting
Brokerage, consulting and technical services are agreed with you individually. Fees, responsibilities and timescales are confirmed in writing before any work begins or any item is listed.
Selling to Gearpimp
If you sell or part-exchange equipment with us, you confirm that you own it and are entitled to sell it. Any valuation we give is based on the information and photos provided and may change once we have inspected the equipment.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
